1. Agreement to terms
By accessing or using Workbeam (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. What Workbeam does
Workbeam aggregates publicly available job listings from company career pages and applicant tracking systems, and lets employers publish paid featured listings. We are a discovery platform — we are not the employer for any listed role and are not a party to any application or hiring decision.
3. Job listings and accuracy
Aggregated listings are collected automatically from third-party sources and may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. We do not guarantee the availability, legitimacy, or accuracy of any listing, and you apply to roles at your own discretion and risk. If you are an employer and want a listing removed, contact us and we will act promptly.
4. Employer postings
If you post a job, you are responsible for its content and confirm you are authorized to post it. Listings must describe a genuine open role and must not be false, misleading, discriminatory, or unlawful, and must not contain malware or attempt to harvest data. We may edit, refuse, or remove any posting at our discretion.
5. Payments and featured posts
Featured job posts are a paid product (currently $99 USD for a 30-day featured placement) processed securely by Stripe. By purchasing, you authorize the charge. Because a featured placement goes live immediately, fees are non-refundable once the listing is published, except where required by law or granted at our discretion.
6. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the Service except as expressly permitted; not to send spam or unsolicited messages; not to post unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; and not to interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
8. Job alerts and email
If you subscribe to job alerts, you consent to receive periodic emails about matching roles. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
9. Intellectual property
The Workbeam name, design, and original content are owned by us. Job listings and company information remain the property of their respective owners and are shown for informational and discovery purposes.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that listings will result in employment or applications.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Workbeam and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Service or reliance on any listing. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Workbeam harmless from any claims arising out of content you post or your misuse of the Service.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
